Washed Out announces North American tour . Ernest Greene has booked a large amount of Washed Out tour dates across North America beginning in early 2022 supporting his latest album ‘Purple Noon’. The 24-date tour takes place in January/February visiting most major markets including Houston, Dallas, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle, Chicago, Toronto, Montreal, Brooklyn, Washington, DC and Atlanta. Prior to the tour, the singer will be making festival appearances at Lost In Dreams and III Points Festival.
Greene’s fourth Washed Out album ‘Purple Noon’ was released on August 7th, 2020 via Sub Pop. The new album follows up 2017’s ‘Mister Mellow’ and 2013’s ‘Paracosm’ which reached a career-best #21 on the Billboard 200. Also in 2017, the Georgia-based singer launched his Mister Mellow Tour which visited 16 cities across the U.S. and Canada. Since beginning his career in 2009, the record producer has also made guest appearances on tracks by Roosevelt and Toro y Moi among others.
