The War on Drugs announce North American tour

Indie outfit The War on Drugs will be launching an early 2022 tour across North America to support their next album ‘I Don’t Live Here Anymore’. The 29-date trek kicks off January 19th in Austin and stretches through February hitting big cities like Dallas, Houston, Atlanta, Philadelphia, New York, Washington DC, Toronto, Detroit, Chicago, Seattle, San Francisco and Los Angeles. Later in the year, the band will be touring extensively across Europe during the spring.

UPDATE: Tour dates have been extended further into the year visiting cities like Atlanta, Nashville, Tulsa, Kansas City, St. Louis, Indianapolis, Cleveland, La Fayette, Lewiston and Raleigh.

The War on Drugs will be releasing their fifth studio album ‘I Don’t Live Here Anymore’ on October 29th, 2021 via Atlantic Records. The new album follows up 2017’s ‘A Deeper Understanding’ which reached a career-best #10 on the Billboard 200 and won Best Rock Album at the 60th Grammy Awards. The same year, the band embarked on a huge fall tour which visited North America and Europe. Current members include Adam Granduciel, David Hartley, Robbie Bennett, Charlie Hall, Jon Natchez and Anthony LaMarca.
