Steve Hackett Tour 2022: Steve Hackett is an English singer-songwriter and musician from London. 

Starting his music career in 1970, as the lead guitarist of Genesis, he left in 1977 to launch a solo career. He has released over 20 albums, including his debut ‘Voyage of the Acolyte’, which was released in 1975 and hit #26 in the UK Albums Chart, as well as ‘Defector’, in 1980, which hit #9 in the chart, several classical albums, such as ‘Bay of Kings’, in 1983, and over a dozen live albums. He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2010. His latest album, ‘The Night Siren’ dropped in 2017. 

Steve Hackett has announced the Genesis Revisited Tour for October 2018, where he’ll perform with his band and a live orchestra. Then in 2019, he’ll play dates celebrating 45 years of the Genesis album ‘Selling England By The Pound’.     English singer-songwriter and ex-Genesis member Steve Hackett is bringing his ‘Genesis Revisited 2020′ tour down under in May next year. Performing in Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane, Steve will take audiences to a trip down memory lane as he plays what is dubbed as Genesis’ finest album—’Selling England By The Pound’—in full, 47 years after the album’s release. Following the AU dates, the rock icon will fly to New Zealand for a one-off show in Auckland.

    In further exciting news, Steve will also be performing his critically acclaimed solo album ‘Spectral Mornings’ in lieu of its 40th anniversary. If that’s not enough, he is also set to sample songs from his stunning new album ‘At The Edge Of Light’. What a treat!

    “I’m excited to bring my ‘Genesis Revisited’ show back to Australia. It was fantastic to play there last time and to visit that amazing country. This time will be a special show, including the whole of Genesis album ‘Selling England By The Pound’, celebrating my solo album ‘Spectral Mornings” 40th anniversary, plus more! I can’t wait!” said Steve of the tour.

    As the powerhouse guitarist for Genesis, one of the most important progressive rock bands ever, Steve has been a guiding influence for musicians and guitarists for over 40 years now. He has recorded seven albums with the band as well as released 30 albums as a solo artist. In 2010, he was inducted into the Rock Hall Of Fame—a recognition that so befits his incredible musicianship and talent.
