Modest Mouse announce ‘MMXXI Tour’

Indie rockers Modest Mouse have announced a huge 2021 tour across America to support their next album ‘The Golden Casket’. Their MMXXI Tour kicks off July 30th in Madison and stretches into October hitting major markets like Philadelphia, Brooklyn, Washington DC, Detroit, Seattle, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Nashville and Miami. Joining the tour on select dates will be special guests Future Islands.

UPDATE: Tour dates have been extended into 2022 with support from The Cribs making additional U.S. stops in Baltimore, Atlanta, Denver, Chicago and New York. Canadian shows are planned for Montreal, Toronto, Vancouver, Edmonton and Calgary.

Modest Mouse will be releasing their seventh studio album ‘The Golden Casket’ on June 25th, 2021 via Epic Records. Their previous 2015 album ‘Strangers to Ourselves’ reached #3 on the Billboard 200 and follows up 2007’s ‘We Were Dead Before the Ship Even Sank’ which was certified Gold by the RIAA. Back in 2019, the band joined The Black Keys during portions of their Let’s Rock Tour along with Shannon & the Clams. Current members include Isaac Brock, Jeremiah Green, Tom Peloso, Jim Fairchild, Russell Higbee, Lisa Molinaro, Ben Massarella and Davey Brozowski.
